We are a family of crafters; even the men are good at it. We were sworn to secrecy on that, so don't tell anyone. We love to scrapbook, but life gets so busy we don't always have a chance to do it. With distance between us we hardly ever get to do it together, but love when we do. This is our way of doing what we love with the people we love the most, and in an effort to keep us together.
It all started a few years ago after scrapbooking for a friends birthday gift, another friend who saw the gift said to me, "You should scrapbook for people as a business." After a discussion with my sister on how much we would love for our mom to have her dream home, and for her and my dad to be able to retire, I said, "That's it! We'll all scrapbook, mom too, and make it a business." Our parents live in one state and are self-employed in another. They travel every 5 days about 9 hours one way; most weeks only getting to stay at home for 2 to 3 days. Our goal/dream is to build my mom her dream home. My parents live in a two bedroom 1950's farm house. They have had plans over the years to build a new home or remodel the farm house. Unfortunately there is always something that comes up; with 7 children they are constantly trying to help during these hard times. Our mother's dream of a new home keeps moving further and further down the list; hence the name, "It's All For Mama!"
